News in Turkey. Planned three-stage opening from May 17th.
The lockdown will end on the morning of May 17th at 5:00 a.m.
In the first stage, cafes and restaurants are allowed to open their outdoor areas until 8:00 p.m.
The curfew begins at 9:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m.
At the weekends, it will only be closed on Sundays.
The schools will remain closed until September 2021. Lessons online continue.
Second step starts on May 31st.
From this date onwards, cafes, restaurants and shops will be allowed to open until 10:00 p.m.
The service continues only in the outdoor area with a capacity of 50%.
The curfew is to be lifted completely.
The third step takes place in July.
For the most part, life is supposed to return to normal.
Weddings and other celebrations may take place again under certain conditions.
Cafés and restaurants will only be open outside until 11:45 p.m.
The final decision is expected to be made on the afternoon of May 17 at the cabinet meeting.
