Classes will begin on March 1, 2021 for elementary school students as well as for students in grades 8 and 12, said Minister of Education Ziya Selcuk.
“We have decided to open all primary schools on March 1st.
Elementary school students go to school two days a week.
Schools also open their doors to 8th and 12th grade students who take state exams at the end of the school year.
Erdogan announced that elementary schools in the villages will start teaching on February 15.
Teachers who start teaching in schools will be vaccinated in February.
Previously, the government had adopted the online education model.
Educational programs were broadcast on television with the support of the national television company TRT.
