Oba is also a suburb east of Alanya, the city centre is very close to Oba. Antalya Airport is 120km and to Gazipasa Airport is only 40km. Oba has 15,000 inhabitants and many Germans and Scandinavians have already bought a real-estate in this area. Oba is located close to the coast, where there are many small hotels, and some 4 to 5 star hotels and many holiday apartments. There are shopping streets with supermarkets, shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars, banks, doctors and pharmacies and once a week there is a bazaar. The biggest shopping centre "ALANYUM" and "METRO" are in Oba too.
The public beach is 3km long, sun beds and parasols can be rented.
