Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yucel and his team, who had previously received high praise from the city's residents for the project to create an uninterrupted cycle lane in the city center, rolled up their sleeves to transform the coastline between Oba and Tosmur districts.
It is planned to transform and equip the coastal strip with a length of 2500 m between the Obacay and Dimcay rivers with:
a bike path
safe jogging trails
terraces with sea views
benches to rest
swings for children
water fountain
a sports field.
The entire interior fits organically into the Alanya landscape.
"I think this place will become the center of attraction,"
the mayor remarked.
The mayor also apologized for the inconvenience caused to local residents in connection with the construction work.
