Quarantine in Alanya, December 2020

News from 12/09/2020

Curfew returned to Alanya.

Weekend curfew:

1. Every weekend there is a curfew across Turkey.
The ban on leaving the house begins on Friday at 9 p.m. and lasts until Monday at 5 a.m.
Valid until information about the reversal of this decision is released.

2. You can visit the nearest shops, as well as a weekly market, if such is within walking distance.

3. People over 65 and under 20 are not allowed to leave the house on weekends.

** The first curfew started on December 4th at 9:00 p.m. and is expected to run through December 7th at 5:00 a.m.

On weekdays:

1. From Monday to Friday, all movements outside must be stopped at 9:00 pm.
Therefore, all shops and shopping centers are closed until 9:00 p.m.
This will continue until the next announcement.

3. The HES code is required to enter the mall like Alanyum.

4. Government agencies work from 10 am to 4 pm.

5. Swimming pools, Turkish bath, Saunas, Massage rooms and amusement parks are temporarily closed.
If your condominium has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, they will be closed.
Fitness studios remain open.

6. Measures are being taken to reduce the number of people using public transport.
Controls are possible.

7. People over 65 cannot use public transport every day during the restrictions
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. And not on weekends at all.

8. People under the age of 20 cannot use public transport every day between 1pm and 4pm.

9. A special service is planned for people over 65 years of age, in which they will be provided with the necessary food during the curfew.

10. A maximum of 30 people can come together for funerals or weddings.

11. It is forbidden to organize celebrations at home. New Year’s Eve parties are prohibited.

12. Preschools and kindergartens are temporarily closed.

This only applies to Anasınıfı and Anaokulları.

13. If your workplace employs more than 50 people, checks will be carried out by the local doctor or a nurse.

14. The fine for non-compliance with the regulations is 3,150 Turkish Lira per person.

Note: If you have a plane ticket, you can safely drive to the airport.
